We are located inside a private/gated resort called Sailport Waterfront Suites.
So you might be asking…

Office Worker: Am I allowed to come in and hang out at Big Bamboo?
Big Bamboo: Yes!

Here’s the deal…

It’s in our lease that we are “open to the public” any weekday up until 2pm. Mainly so office workers can come in for lunch. (But we are open for breakfast too!)

All you have to do is go to the security guard booth at the front entrance and say…

Office Worker: I’d like to come in for lunch at Big Bamboo. Can I come in?
Security Gard: Yes!

Office Worker: Is there any thing else I need to know?
Big Bamboo: Yes! Even though you are allowed in to eat at Big Bamboo, you can’t just go anywhere in the resort…only Big Bamboo. You can’t use the pool, layout at the beach, work out on the exercise equipment, etc. Those amenities are only for the people that are paying for a Suite Rental.

During slow tourist times, the security guards might be given permission to relax this rule a little and let you in at night too or even on the weekends. And along with that, during peak tourist times, they might actually have to lock it all down if we are sold out and packed.
